NovArk Power Concludes CIDEE 2026 in Shijiazhuang with Russia Agreement Signed
Hunan Qianding Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., which sells to overseas buyers as NovArk Power, completed its three-day run at the 2026 China International Digital Economy Expo (CIDEE) in Shijiazhuang on 25 September.
The show closed with a cooperation agreement signed with a Russian counterparty, and with the final day falling on the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Three days at the show
The company exhibited for the full run of the expo, from 23 to 25 September, at the Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Its stand was in Hall 2, stand 2A-3.
CIDEE is a national-level exhibition covering industrial digitalisation, intelligent equipment and green energy, and it draws manufacturers, technology suppliers and procurement teams from across China. The visitors to the stand were a mix of domestic buyers and overseas guests, which is the pattern a show of this kind produces.
Traffic to the stand was steady across all three days. Visitors examined the equipment on display and asked about technical parameters, OEM customisation and how the sets are applied in emergency power scenarios.
The sales team worked through enquiries on product reliability, energy efficiency and delivery capability. Those three subjects came up repeatedly, which is what would be expected from buyers who are comparing suppliers rather than looking at a single quotation.
Exhibiting a generator range at a digital economy show is a deliberate choice rather than an obvious one. As industrial sites add automation, instrumentation and data equipment, the quality of their backup power becomes a systems question rather than only an emergency question - and that is a conversation that belongs at this kind of event.
The Russia cooperation agreement
The cooperation agreement with the Russian counterparty was signed on site during the show. The two sides discussed trade in generator sets and agreed to develop overseas market activity together.
The basis of the discussion was the company's OEM manufacturing capacity and its product quality. The company manufactures generator sets at its own facility in Hunan Province, which is what allows configurations to be adjusted for a specific project rather than selected from a fixed catalogue.
It is worth keeping the scope of the agreement in view: it is a framework for cooperation on trade and market development. It is not a supply contract, and no order volume, value or delivery schedule is attached to it. Its value will be measured by the projects that follow.
For buyers in Russia and the wider region, the practical requirements are consistent and worth naming: confirmation of output at the actual site conditions; the electrical standard of the destination country, which in Russia and most of the CIS is 50 Hz at 380/220 V; and a clear position on documentation, spare parts and service response after delivery. Those are the points that decide whether a supplier is usable over several years, rather than whether a single quotation looks competitive.
What was on display
Four product lines were shown: silent diesel generator sets, gas generator sets, mobile lighting towers and portable inverter generator sets. Together they cover the span from small portable units through to large fixed installations.
The silent diesel set is the mainstay for standby and medium-duration supply, where noise limits and enclosure quality decide whether a set can be installed close to occupied buildings. Gas sets suit sites where gas is available and running cost over several years matters more than purchase price. Portable inverter units serve light and mobile duty, and mobile lighting towers are used on construction and event sites where the lighting has to move with the work.
One subject came up in most of the conversations: OEM and custom supply. Importers and distributors were not only asking what the standard range contains, but how far a unit can be adapted - panel layout, voltage and frequency variants, badging, and the documentation that has to accompany a shipment. That is a manufacturing question rather than a trading one, and it is the question a factory is set up to answer.
Mid-Autumn on the closing day
The final day of the expo coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the two largest family occasions in the Chinese calendar. It is a public holiday, and most of the country was not working.
The exhibition team stayed on the stand through it, which is what the closing day of a three-day show requires. Trade shows do not pause for the calendar, and the last day is often when the more serious conversations happen, because the casual visitors have already been through.
The company used the occasion to pass on Mid-Autumn greetings to its partners and customers, and to thank the visitors who came to the stand over the three days.
What happens next
The enquiries taken at the show are being followed up individually. Buyers who left specifications or site conditions will receive configurations and quotations against those details rather than general material.
That distinction matters. A quotation issued without the load profile, the ambient conditions and the duty rating is a starting point at best, and it is the usual reason a generator enquiry stalls after the show. Working from the site conditions first is slower at the beginning and considerably faster afterwards.
On the cooperation side, the next stage is project introductions rather than further announcements: the agreement creates a channel, and the work is in what passes through it.
Further updates will be added to this page as projects are agreed.
