12 sets of 1200kW high-voltage diesel generator sets have been delivered to a large coal mine
Recently, our company successfully completed the delivery and commissioning of the procurement project for 12 sets of 1200kW high-voltage diesel generator sets, which was agreed upon with a large energy group in Xinjiang. The generator sets have been officially put into operation as standby power systems for mine production, providing stable and reliable power supply for key processes such as underground mining, ventilation, and hoisting in the coal mine.
This coal mine is a key energy project in Xinjiang, with an annual production capacity of 15 million tons. Its production process demands extremely high continuity of power supply - any power outage of underground ventilation, drainage, and lifting equipment will directly affect production safety and efficiency. After multiple rounds of field inspections, technical demonstrations, and bidding selection, the client ultimately chose our high-voltage diesel generator set. The core considerations stem from three major advantages of the product: First, it adopts the Weichai WP13 series engine paired with a Stamford brushless generator. The unit has a rated power of 1200kW and an output voltage of 10kV, meeting the direct access requirements of the mine's high-voltage power supply system and reducing the Investment in intermediate equipment such as transformers. Second, it is equipped with an intelligent PLC control system that supports linkage with the mine's existing automation platform. It can achieve automatic start-up within 0.8 seconds of power outage and seamless load switching, ensuring uninterrupted operation of key equipment. Third, the unit complies with the National IV emission standards for non-road mobile machinery and is equipped with an efficient exhaust gas treatment system, adapting to the stringent environmental protection requirements and low temperature conditions (-30℃ stable start-up) in Xinjiang.
To ensure the smooth progress of the project, our company has established a dedicated service team. During the pre-sales stage, the technical team conducted multiple visits to the mine site, combining factors such as underground power supply load, installation space, and climatic conditions to customize and optimize the layout and startup plan of the units. During the production stage, we strictly adhere to the ISO9001 quality system standards, and key components undergo three rounds of full-load trial operation testing to ensure product stability. In the delivery stage, six senior engineers are stationed on site throughout the process, completing the installation, wiring, commissioning, and operator training of 12 units in just seven days, efficiently responding to the customer's core needs of "meeting the deadline and ensuring production".
